St Genève makes luxury bedding in British Columbia from natural fibres like down, wool and silk. Buying Home & Kitchen made in Canada: what to check
- 01For wooden boards and utensils, ask what wood and finish are used.
- 02For ceramics, ask whether pieces are food safe, and dishwasher and oven safe.
- 03Check whether cookware is made here or only finished or packaged here.
- 04For linens, look for a qualifier; fabric is often imported even when sewn here.
