Buying Eco-Friendly Products made in Canada: what to check
- 01Ask what a claim like "compostable" or "biodegradable" is based on.
- 02Check whether your local program accepts the item before trusting "recyclable."
- 03Choose refills, concentrates and durable goods over single-use items in green packaging.
- 04Look for an origin claim too; a green claim says nothing about where it was made.
