Made in Canada
Inukshuk
In short
Yes, Inukshuk makes its products in Canada, in Fredericton, NB. It makes high-energy dry dog food for working, sporting and sled dogs. The company is Canadian owned.
Inukshuk started as a kibble for Canadian sled dogs racing the Yukon Quest, and it is still made by the family-run Corey Nutrition in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The formulas are calorie dense for hard-working dogs, and the company keeps production in its own plant rather than outsourcing it.

Buying Pet Products made in Canada: what to check
- 01Check where the food is actually made, not only where the company is based.
- 02Ask where the main protein comes from; Made in Canada does not mean Canadian meat.
- 03Look for a clear ingredient list and feeding guide on food and treats.
- 04For toys and beds, check the stitching and choose sizes your pet cannot swallow.
