Made in Canada
Prior
In short
Yes, Prior makes its products in Canada, in Whistler, BC. It makes skis, snowboards and splitboards. The company is Canadian owned. Founded in 1989.
Chris Prior pressed his first snowboard in Whistler in November 1989, and the company still builds every ski and board in house at its Whistler factory. Riders can order a custom build and choose the shape, length, sidecut, flex, camber and materials, which is rare for a brand that also sells an off the rack lineup.

- 03Look for any safety certification required for helmets and protective gear.
- 04Fit matters more than origin, so try gear on or check the sizing guide.
