Oven Bros
In short
Yes, Oven Bros makes its products in Canada, in Ottawa, ON. It makes wood fired pizza oven kits, wood fired grills, rotisseries and pizza steels. The company is Canadian owned. Founded in 2017.
Friends JP Normand and Gord Jones built their own backyard pizza oven after not finding one they liked, and that became Oven Bros in Ottawa. The oven kits use laser cut carbon steel lined with fire brick on the floor, walls and roof, so they hold heat the way a masonry oven does.

Buying Outdoor & Footwear made in Canada: what to check
- 01Check the boot or jacket itself; "Designed in Canada" is common in this category.
- 02Ask whether boots can be resoled, by the maker or a local cobbler.
- 03Treat temperature ratings as a rough guide; fit, socks and activity matter too.
- 04For moccasins or mukluks sold as Indigenous-made, ask about the maker and community.
