Made in Canada
Larch Wood
In short
Yes, Larch Wood makes its products in Canada, in East Margaree, NS. It makes end grain cutting boards, butcher blocks and serving boards. The company is Canadian owned.
Larch Wood turns Canadian larch logs into end grain cutting boards in its own workshop on Cape Breton Island. End grain construction lets knife edges slip between the wood fibres, which is easier on blades and helps the board hide cuts. Each board is cut, glued, sanded and oiled by hand in Nova Scotia.
